Lompoc is located on scenic Pacific Coast Highway (California Hwy 1) and Highway 246, surrounded by rolling hills to the north, south and east. It lies 55 miles northwest of Santa Barbara, 155 miles northwest of Los Angeles and 270 miles southeast of San Francisco.
The Lompoc Valley offers affordable Central Coast living, with temperate weather, numerous outdoor activities and a close-knit, small-town atmosphere.
Next door is Vandenberg Air Force Base, one of the nation’s premier space launch facilities and the city’s largest employer, providing 6,700 jobs.

Nearly 40 wineries and the famed Lompoc Wine Ghetto dot Lompoc and the surrounding Santa Rita Hills, offering some of the best pinot noir, syrah and chardonnay in the state.
